With so many communities within a short distance it should be a 40 mph road to encourage cycling. The added benefit of greater road safety for all road users.
Lots of residential properties and businesses on this section of road makes it inappropriate to be national speed limit. It should be a 40mph speed limit for greater road safety for all road users.
Reduce speed limit to 40 mph for the complete length of this road as dangerous and busy junction for vehicles let alone people on bikes.

Vehicle restrictive barrier useless for bikes with baby trailers no way to navigate around without going on the road. Path to narrow when people do go Around it to avoid this barrier
Leaving and entering Maldon this road is too fast when on a bike. Short bike lane needed down and up the hill. Road becomes safer as you get away from Maldon
Road and Bridge too narrow for bikes in and out of Maldon from Langford. Existing path is gravel and too narrow for bikes
No footpath, but popular heath for walking, lots of cycling along this road between villages. Several properties & businesses trade off this road and a busy crossroads. All of which calls for the speed limit to be reduced to 40 mph.

Zebra crossing on blind corner dangerous for both pedestrians and cyclists. Move crossing and change into a toucan or tiger crossing
Tight corner on dual pedestrian/cycle path has hedge growing onto cycle lane risking collisions and making distancing impossible. Needs widening/clearing.

Add dedicated cycleways on Fambridge road to reduce road traffic and allow the new houses a connection to our High Street.
Provide access from the road to the cycle way to make it an easier alternative to using the Causeway
There is no pavement and it’s a fast road... I can not safely leave my village of Bradwell on either foot or bicycle!
It would be a wonderful experience if a proper car park and a level path could be laid along the whole Blackwater Navigation canal, linking existing paths in large towns (Chelmsford & Maldon) making it's entirety more accessible.

Canal path is very narrow. By widening between Heybridge Basin and Holloway Road you would have a good shared path with space for social distancing, off road away from traffic from the Basin to Tesco
