Speed restrictions needed (20mph?) — cycling feels very dangerous at this point on Cycle Route 1 due to cars speeding.

Something like a narrower one-way system will need to be done along Highlands Drive to facilitate safely distanced school runs for both All Saints' and St Francis.
No traffic zone from top Market Hill to Police Station to improve shopping experience and reduce pollution.
To encourage more people to shop and feel safe, the top of the High Street should be pedestrianised permanently.

By using a pandemic to force in a one way system in Maldon that was never approved is short sighted and will lead to a race track effect round Maldon.
